Are all bracket orders considered as intraday orders or else we are suppose to take them delivery-orders?

Both Bracket Order and Cover Order are intra day orders - which means you will have to close the position before 3:30 PM. If you are unable to do this, the RMS team will square off the position at market prices.

All these ordres are intraday type and you need to square off manually. If you don't square off before 3:20 pm, zerodha will automatically square them off around 3:20 to 3:21 pm.

  • MIS orders (Margin Intraday Square-off)
  • BO (Bracket Order)
  • CO (Cover Order)

Avoiding auto square off and carry over for next day

MIS order type can be converted to CNC (Cash n Carry)/NRML (Normal) orders before auto 3:20 pm square off. (So that you can carry forward your position for next day, You need sufficient margin for this to happen)

But currently BO and CO cannot be converted to overnight positions (to carry over for next day)
