ATO orders are very useful, but many times modification in previous ATO is rejected and we need to place whole ATO afresh which is time consuming.
I faced this issue when trigger was same NIFTY, but i deleted 2 options orders placed and changed their strike and quantity.
There must be an option to create Duplicate ATO “Copy of”, which is considered afresh by system if this edit issue is not solvable.
You can modify, if you are facing issue in modifying maybe you can create a ticket.
Or you are trying to modify already triggered ATO?
ATO triggered and orders executed on monday lets say. All market (not limit) orders.
ATO remains as disabled, but very useful as template as < ,> etc are set in trigger.
So on wednesday, only alert value is changed, and deleted ATO basket option orders using clear basket option in right corner within ATO.
New basket of 2-3 option orders added in ATO with different strike price than monday order.
ATO showing error and not able to activate.
Either we need duplicate ATO which is editable to save time OR old ATO must not show error.
Creating all new ATO each day, is time consuming and fallible.
Even not able to do the same in today’s added ATO !!, not only old ATOs.
ATOs have features like “How many times triggered?” & “clear basket”, what is use of all if once triggered ATO of even today is not modifiable.
