Attention Indian Traders! Exploring the Idea of Canvas - Your Customizable, Lightning Fast Trading Terminal 📈

As a sophisticated trader, you know the importance of a trading platform that adapts to your needs.

Most traders face issues in navigating the clunky UI/UX offered in the market currently. Trading seamlessly from multiple accounts like Zerodha, Groww, etc. is a problem. Lightning fast execution while also protecting oneself against slippage and getting visibility on charges one is paying for a transaction is another issue traders face on a daily.

The market has long been searching for its “super app”—some breakthrough application that drives mass adoption and unlocks the full potential of existing technology.

That’s why we’re considering developing Canvas, designed specifically for the Indian markets, with potential features like:

  1. Lightning-fast execution for quick trades
  2. A fully customizable Terminal – drag, resize, or hide components to fit your workflow
  3. Quick Swap: Effortlessly swap between any two assets using the most liquid routes – swap INR for any stock, or any stock you own for any other stock listed on NSE/BSE

Before we start building, we want to validate the need for such a platform. What are your thoughts on a customizable trading terminal? Would you be interested in a solution like Canvas? Share your experiences and expectations below!

> Trading isn’t a science, it’s an art. That’s why the best traders require the perfect canvas.

This sounds good for scalping and day trading, swing and positional trades wouldn’t require this. :warning:

Scalping and day trading for a person has the most risk and least reward. :chart_with_downwards_trend:
Algos have an edge in shorter timeframes, so traders would be competing against a machine where it has distinct advantages. :robot:

Longer timeframes are where normal traders still hold the most advantage :chart:, so I don’t see why peeps would give that up. Sorry! :person_shrugging:

P.S. If you’re curious where I’m coming from: currently trading programmatically using pure QA methods (non directional strangles) intraday and making modest money but learning TA for swing trades. :white_check_mark:

Zerodha is working on a terminal mode, which is expected to be available in the coming months.

The end goal is to build for people like yourself who we envision to be our power users. Is there a way to get in touch with you so we can chat further and tailor Canvas to be the perfect tool for you?

Looking forward to chatting!
