Auction market orders

I have gone through articles about Auction market in Kite. I tried to place orders at 20% premium several times but none of the orders got executed so far. Is there any trick am missing or I should not place orders at 20% profit. I have seen higher buy orders than sell orders in Market depth but still my orders were not executed.

Does buyers has better option for buying shares rather than buying at 20% premium in auction market.

Once you place the orders is the auction market during the 30 minute window, it isn’t executed immediately. It’ll execute at the end of the session.

You can place the order 20% higher but if someone places order at lower price than your price, exchange will buy shares from that person and your order will not be filled.
