Aztec Fluids & Machinery – Company Overview

Thought I’d start a dedicated discussion on Aztec Fluids & Machinery since there isn’t much information available on the forums despite the company operating in a niche industrial segment.

Aztec is not a conventional engineering company. It operates in the industrial coding, marking, serialization, and track & trace space, providing solutions that help manufacturers print and trace information on products and packaging. Its offerings include industrial printers, inks, consumables, software, after-sales services, and increasingly, AI-enabled track & trace solutions. The company serves industries such as FMCG, Food, Pharmaceuticals, Packaging, Agriculture, Industrial Automation, and Extrusion.

A few things that stood out while reading about the business:

  • More than 20 years of industry experience with 8,000+ products installed, 4,000+ customers, operations across 15+ countries, and over 200 employees.
  • The company recently acquired Jet Inks, strengthening its backward integration in ink manufacturing while expanding its product portfolio and distribution network. Management expects the acquisition to support revenue growth and improve margins over time.
  • Aztec is investing in in-house manufacturing, R&D, serialization technology, and government digitization opportunities, aiming to transition from a trading-led model to a manufacturing and IP-driven business.

Financially, FY26 showed steady growth:

  • Revenue: ₹96.53 Cr
  • EBITDA: ₹13.96 Cr
  • PAT: ₹7.41 Cr

What also makes the company interesting is the industry it operates in. Increasing regulations around product coding, serialization, food safety, pharmaceuticals, anti-counterfeiting measures, and traceability are creating structural demand for coding and marking solutions, especially as more manufacturing shifts to India.

I’m still researching the business, so I’d love to hear from others.
