Banknifty contracts 24-Apr and 30-Ap

Zerodha is showing weekly banknifty contracts of 24th April as monthly contract whereas the actual monthly expiry is on 30th April.

01-May-2024 Wednesday is holiday on account of Maharashtra Day.

Please see the snapshot below in the watchlist. Shouldn’t the contracts of 30-April-2024 be listed as Monthly April contracts instead of labeling it as weekly contract and the 24th April being labeled as Monthly contract.

Many of those who are doing monthly calendar setups have got their setups wrong because of this goof up.

Monthly expiry is on April 24 itself.
As the weekly expiry comes on May 1 which is a holiday, expiry is preponed to April 30. This cannot be considered as monthly expiry.
