BANKNIFTY freeze limit has been revised upwards from 600 to 900.

You can place an order of up to 900 units, but since 26 lots would exceed the limit, and 25 lots equal 875 units, technically only 25 lots can be placed.

This doesn’t applicable for zerodha users.

Order will be split if quantity is above freeze limit.

Order slicing happens in multiples of 875 quantity.
The number of orders will be less as the freeze limit is higher.
