Would it be possible to introduce a toggle button of some sort to easily change from Buy to Sell or Sell to Buy order type in the basket? Something like -
We din’t added because one may want to change price, if keeping limit order, maybe change quantity etc, but based on the users feedback we will, already noted this point.

The manual execute buttons are already there.
Just that they appear after 1. Orders are fired 2. Rejected 3. Edited.
Just keep them there from the start.
Wont be much trouble for developer.
Yes, for some other reasons we have not given before but will provide these with small changes.

@siva-reddy hello sir, So if place buy order first outside the allowed range in basket will it get rejected due to OI restrictions ? Will the sell order be executed ? or none of the orders will be executed if the first order of sequence is rejected. Please confirm ?
My second question is if we place SELL order first (with less Margin) and Buy Order after that in basket will they both get executed at same time as margin shortfall will be only for few Seconds . Or Sell order will be rejected?
@nithin Great addition, kudos Zerodha. It definitely saves a lot of time and will help timely execution of trades soon the market opens. Time is money and the importance of this quote especially in trading is undeniable. May this can be a future update but will it possible to automatically execute a trade at a particular time? Say if I want to place trade at 9.15 AM, I can a set the time and it gets triggered at that particular time.
Not possible for now, will look on the possibilities both technical and regulatory.

@nithin., @siva-reddy… is there any thought to implement combined stoploss and combined proifit exit in basket orders( for straddles, strangles in future. It is very useful to option traders
What you demanding is nothing. You should see platforms of international brokers like IBKR.
It will take Zerodha, like 2 yrs and whole lot of resources to develop anything like that
It comes under algo in India, many regulatory rules are stopping us to provide many cool extensions, for a fact we already have it on our sentinel baskets, but we can give only alert on kite as manual submission is required.

Not sure why you are so negative about us even though we are trying out many things atleast which are not available in India within our limitations though, but least we are trying.

And as far as tech is concerned you guys should really see platform of IBKR. It is wicked. It feels like it has got AI built in. Will love to see Zerodha providing such platforms.
They have just couple of thousand clients but once we allow we will be asked to stop, happened couple of times earlier, also we have approached regulator on allowing similar types but was told they comes under algo and are not allowed.

@siva-reddy: for entering scripts in baskets, why dont you give “drag and drop” while keeping both the market watch window and basket order window open at the same time. better than search.

@siva-reddy If you give payoff graph thats will be good for us . all broker are giving payoff graph , we need payoff graph in the side its more helpful
@siva-reddy, unable to move the basket window while in edit/create mode. this block the market watch price and when i click on market watch, this window goes off. i have to go thro the process again.
Not sure who all are giving but for options to provide is in our list of things to do.

You can add scrips on basket itself, can see LTP there, once added all are saved automatically.
