Hi,
I have executed some Basket Orders for Bank Nifty in Zerodha.
I do not have any open positions at the End of Day and I got a mail from stating that is Provisional Margin Shortfall and Funds need to be maintained.
Kindly advise and clarify the following queries.
In case of Intraday Positions, does this Apply?.
Since, I am using the Basket Feature of Zerodha, I assume that the underlying margin requirement is per-computed. In case of MTM, if the under lying Fund is not adequate, the positions will be squared off immediately. If that is case, why is there a Provision Margin Shortfall Notification?.
