Are the baskets of kite and sentinel same different?
For instance if one create a basket on kite will it working on sentinel and vice versa?
Secondly, can an alert be created for the basket on kite?
Both are a bit different. Sentinel Basket is based on Alert, while Basket on Kite can be executed immediately.

You cannot yet create alert for Basket on Kite. If you want to create a alert and then execute basket based on that alert then you can use Sentinel Basket for that, you can know more about Sentinel Basket Orders here.
