Beneficiary ID or DP ID while applying for IPO?

Hello friends,
I am applying for Mahindra Logistics IPO through my IDBI net banking.
I selected CDSL.
Further it is asking for beneficiary id

Here I am confused
Should I enter the 8 digit beneficiary ID or the 16 digit DP id for IPO application as given in my profile page in Q.zerodha.com?
Any help would be much appreciated!!!

You must enter the 16 digit DP ID for IPO applications while applying for the IPO.

I had the same doubt and i asked zerodha support and the reply is as follows:(it will surely help you) This post will explain how to apply for an IPO through HDFC Bank netbanking. If you have a different bank account, then you look for ASBA Services or IPO Application in your bank’s netbanking.
