The default layout refers to the settings that will be saved as your preferred settings. These settings will be automatically applied when you open the chart.
For instance, you can choose a dark theme, adjust the scale properties, select specific indicators, and make drawings for multiple stocks. When you open the chart, the chosen theme, scale properties, selected indicators, and applied drawings will be automatically displayed.
On the other hand, think of multiple layouts as different folders. You can save one theme in one layout and another theme in another layout. Similarly, you can choose different candlestick colors and apply different sets of drawings (analysis) for the same stock in different layouts. You can also save layouts with single, double, or four charts. Once you save a layout, you don’t have to set it up again. The next time you need that particular layout, you can simply load it and use it.
you said that there is a certain memory allocated to every account. Number of charts can be saved is related to that? And where can I see that?
Users will not be able to see it until they reach the maximum limits. Regular users can save up to 10 templates along with drawings for 20+ scrips. If a user wants to save more than that, they may have to remove the least important one and then add the new changes. This is an approximate count based on average usage. It may vary depending on the number of indicators saved in the template and the number of drawings applied to a scrip.
