Have you staked multiples of your usual size and gained or lost big from it? What’s your story?
I have in the cash market few times. Although I have never staked more than 10% of my capital on any trade (so this is not as big in those terms)
Intense tech - lost 50%.
Borosil Renewables - it went down more than 60% but eventually gained to 3 times my price - sold it too early unfortunately
These days I do very little in the cash market (MF is sufficient for that). I have never over-reached while buying options, although the whispers are getting louder recently
I’ve lost a lot in 2015&2016. That time I was new to markets and used to buy in cash on recos of TV channels. I don’t remember names of stocks now. All I remember is I ended up losing ₹ 1 lakh including charges on an investment of 2.5 lakh in just 4 months. December 2015 to March 2016. Then took a 2 month break and restarted in May. And was able to cover that loss in 3.5 years by December 2019.

I hv lost money in market in my early days 2015-2016…
Now i apply very strict rules
i am 80% into Day trade and 20% in position or swing trade
i use leverage only for intraday …If i have to carry forward trade i take leverage only in nifty future…EQUITIES deleivery always in cash
Rules are very impt in market
Discipline is required which we usually dn follow when we dn get trades but this is what it requires…
