M facing a big problem some times, it happens that my equity account does not have the desired amount of money for the next installment of the Mutual Fund. Is there any way by which i can lock in a small portion of my money for the Mututal Fund transactions.

If you check your SIP tab, there will be column called ’ Next Installment Date '. This is the date on which the order would be placed.
So, you are required to transfer the amount to your trading account before 5 pm the same day(we always check the ledger balance for orders in mutual fund investments only by the end of the day).
The other way would be maintain some amount of balance in your trading account so the amount will get debited on the particular due dates.
