My broker did a silly and huge mistake 
. They put a dot . In my name. Example - My name is Radikha Singh but they write in their records Radikha . Singh. I did few trades with them but I want to get it resolve. When I check the contract note then I found their mistake.
If I close account with them will this create issue in future for my account?

Hey @moderators and @admins please provide genuine solution, so I can avoid blockage of my investments in future. I will close demat account with them and continue with Zerodha only.

I already mentioned that account was With other broker, and I am only getting suggestions.
It should create no issues. Request your broker to make the changes and a re-kyc will sort it out.
Sir my kyc was right still they made a mistake. It’s their fault why should I do rekyc.
They will amend the CML after a re-kyc and your name will reflect per the government ID.
Not your fault, Its theirs. Since you need the correction, you will have to take proactive steps.
If I delete and close the account with that broker, will it create issues for Other brokers in future? Because I traded with that incorrect name with NSE and BSE. So in future will exchanges and depository questioned me?

@Meher_Smaran @ShubhS9 and sir @VenuMadhav Sir I contacted them and they corrected the details. And when I asked them, why did you make this mistake then they said Middle name was mandatory in the CDSL. That’s why . is fetched in the name. Are they lying? They also mentioned my occupation as housewife, but I choose business Now they have corrected it as well. Should I approach SEBI for the proper explanation or leave this issue and close the account with that broker? Please don’t tell, ask them as I don’t trust them.
Madam, I can understand that the feeling is not good when brokers did mistakes and you have to suffer. Let’s wait for suggestions by @moderators

Ok from now, I will not tag anyone. But last question how can I know whether my correct name was updated by them on exchanges. What if they have not corrected my name on exchanges Then it will definitely going to Affect my account also. This is why I am concerned. As far as I know, details on exchanges for one PAN Card/investor is Not separately registered from different brokers. @Meher_Smaran this is last time tagging you.
