BSDA and Non BSDA Account

I actually need help to understand if i should keep my demat account as BSDA Account or as Non BSDA Account?

I have my demat with Angel One. I do not trade at all.

In my demat account, i have SGB for 99800 which i bought in September 2023.

I also bought SGB again of 99100 in December 2023 slot.

Now as per the calculation my holding is below the 2lac mark. But if we consider the regular market conditions, it goes above 2lac mark.

I am planning to invest more.

My account has automatically converted to BSDA Account.

Q1. Is being converted to BSDA Account good for me?
Q2. How will i be charged annually (₹450/- Annually)?
Q3. Should i opt for lifetime option for ₹2500/-?
Q4. Should i convert my account back to regular Non BSDA Account?
Q5. Why do i pay them when even the government levis no tax on the profit earned?
Q6. Please someone help…

Bit off-topic… If one wants to open a demat account only to hold SGB, I’d recommend
