If a person buy a scrip today(T) and incase If he sell the scrip on tomorrow ( T+1) and buying it back on the end of the day.

In this case. Will there be any chance of short delivery penalty?

Since the person is buying it back on the same day. What kind of negative implications do we have ?

There is no risk of you short delivering as you’ve bought back the shares.
