Buy and Sell orders on NSE and BSE exchange

Zerodha had added a feature to automatically select the lower price (NSE or BSE) when we used to click on the buy order and the higher price (NSE or BSE) for sell orders.

This is no longer working, For example, when I click on buy for ABB share, it by default selects ABB NSE (Price = 6360.85) instead of ABB BSE (price 6350)

Why was the feature discontinued?

Hi @Jack_R, there have been no chnges.

If you are placing an order from MarketWatch, the exchange selection is based on which exchange scrip you have added to the MarketWatch.

For example, if you have added ABB (NSE) to the MarketWatch, when you open order window NSE will be selected. If you have added ABB (BSE) then BSE will be selected.

In Kite holdings, the exchange selection is based on previous closing price of the day. If the previous closing was higher on NSE, when you place an order from holdings, NSE will be selected when you open the order window and if previous closing was higher on BSE then BSE will be selected.
