Buying and selling BSE SME and NSE emerge shares in Zerodha

  1. can I buy and sell shares listed in BSE SME and NSE emerge shares in Zerodha. Is there any difference in trading these shares apart form normal shares (other than lot size).

  2. What will happen if I purchase such shares and lot size changes. (for ex. lot size increase from 4000 to 5000)

For NSE, select the group as SM and add the SME scrip and you’ve to buy/sell like you’d buy/sell any other scrip.

If the lot size changes, the Exchange will release circulars and mention the methodology in which positions can be closed.
