Buying Direct and SIP

If i have a SIP going on for particular fund and i want to buy today’s NAV, so i buy direct by investing some amount for the same fund, will this be added to my SIP order or it will be consider as new order ?

SIP is different and Lump Sum Purchase is different. So, your additional purchase will be considered as separate order.

is there any way to get todays NAV with SIP going on with same fund.

There is no way to get today’s NAV before closing of trading hours. But, for a specific fund, you can get the details of top 10 holdings from fact sheet and from those share movements, you can approximate NAV directions either + or - for today. In general, if market is down by 100-200 points in a single day, buy your fund before 3pm on the same day.

Cut-off Time:
For Purchase,
a) For Equity Funds - 3:00 p.m.
b) For Liquid Funds - 2:00 p.m

Hi,
You are mostly correct but be corrected to buy your fund before 3 PM instead of 2 PM. As per rules, your investment before 3 p.m will be allotted units at the day’s closing NAV and after 3 p.m will be allotted units at next working day’s NAV.
