Calculation of Short term capital Gain

Hi,

Can anybody tell me easiest way to calculate STCG.

I have a my tradelog with me.

Is there any tool through which I can do it.

Because doing it manually when you have more than 200 transactions is very tedious.That too matching it with Holding statements to calculate FIFO.

Kindly help me regarding this.

if you are Zerodha trader…go to Q-Back office…Reports…Tax P&L…and choose Financial Year…you will be able to see summery of Equity, Currencies, FnO & Commodities. STCG is applicable only for equities…hence in equity section…by going in to Details…you will be able to see the figure of Short term Profits and its scripwise further bifurcation.
