Yes. it can be canceled to avoid remaining qty to get filled.

Yes. it can be modified to change the limit price to fill the remaining quantity at the specified limit price.

I have a query about modifying partially traded orders. Say I place a buy limit order of 100 qty and 70 out of it is executed. 30 qty is pending on exchange. Now I want to buy only 90 qty in total. What number do I put in the modify order form - 20 or 90?

As per Kite connect forum, it should be 90 LINK.

Is it the same in Kite mobile? I would think so as it saves me the calculation of 90-70 (difficult for not so easy numbers).

And can I increase the total order quantity to 150? Kite connect says I cannot.

Yes, you can change the quantity column, can increase or decrease as you wish.

Thanks @siva-reddy Wanted to clarify that say 70/100 qty are filled. Now if i want a total execution of 90 only, what qty should I enter in the Modify order form: 20 or 90?

If 70 is completed out of 100 then quantity column will be showing 30, you can change it as you wish.
