Can F&O Losses be offset against Short Term Capital Gains?

Hi,

I’ve a F&O loss of 2L & also short term capital gains of 3L (both in current year). Can I offset F&O 2L loss against 3L STCG profit, thereby paying tax only on 1L?

Everywhere I searched it says its possible but I just want to confirm.
