I have planned some trading activity for tomorrow. My funds are blocked as i have taken overnight position in some of the options. Today is holiday on account of Christmas. Can i convert my existing positions to MIS today so that the moment market opens tomorrow i will have more margin available for intra day trading?
Just try, u cannot
You cannot do this. Positions can’t be interchanged on a trading holiday.
But you can do it tomorrow morning as soon as the market opens bat 9:15 . So you will be able to trade with the extra margin anyway.
