Can i do long and short position same time in currency

Can we buy and sell currency futures contract at the same time will the position of bought of them will be considered different or same

For e.g.

20 Aug bought USD currency and on 21 Aug sold USD currency

will bought of them will be considered as a different position or same position

At the end of the day will I be having 2 open position or no position at all

At a time you can have only one view on the market. So you can either be long/buy, short/sell, or no position at all.

So if you have bought on 20th aug and sold on 21th aug, it will be considered as one bought and sold futures, and u will have no open positions.
