Can I enter at a price 10% lower than market for options

Hi team,

I am using market order for DYC futur & options but it gets executed at higher price can I enter at a price which is 25 ruppes lower?

Hello @bill_gates

You can enter a trade at a price lower than the market price. You can use the order type as Limit at the time of deployment and enter the required buffer value. Let us understand the same as per your example(refer to the below image):

Since a buffer of “-25” is used in the above snapshot, assuming the trigger is generated at 19525, with the above settings, an alert for placing a limit order will be generated with the limit price as 19500. You can select the buffer as per the instrument and your requirements. To understand more about limit orders, please refer to this blog: Understanding Limit and Market Orders and How to use them in Streak - Streak Tech

You can also do the same for option contracts.

Hope this helps.
