Can I file ITR 1, small intraday tradings, total amounting to turnover of 20k

Can I file ITR 1 and don’t show these small tradings of turnover of just 20k. I made losses and there were no gains. Actually I have filled ITR1 and haven’t show trading details. Is it ok?

Hi,

You can file ITR-1 if you do not wish to claim nominal losses incurred on the trading activity done during the year. However, keep in mind that in future if any query is raised then the same needs to be explained to the IT Department.

You should file as per return applicable as equity trades are tracked via PAN.
