Not really, if the person is a well known expert in the field, then you could follow it to certain extent. For example in profit NDTV website few key experts give suggestions everyday. I have observed it works only for 60-70% of the time, But for beginners who do not have any idea about markets, it is worth checking out those suggestions with limited investment.
Also since it is getting posted on key website like Profit NDTV, many beginners follow that creating a demand/supply in that direction (which inturn makes the saying true).
Do not follow blindly any other advice. The best way is to experience yourself with very less investment and see how it affects your decisions and learn from that.

Do not dream of stock tips that give 100% hit. Why should somebody sell you stock tips if it is so reliable. Here is an article on stocks tips you can have a look.

people are cleverly embedding their stock tips websites when they are replying. Is this allowed on this forum promoting other websites?

Intraday trading is all about predicting. The only important factor is probability. That is why no one can guarantee success 100% of the time. If you are interested in only investment calls, Iād say take a note of those calls, do your research and then decide!
