Greetings, I am a newbie and having a doubt, Could you please clarify the sam.
Suppose, a stock is in downtrend from past few sessions & my point of view is bearish on it, then :
In the spot market, I go short (sell) on this stock today & intend to buy it (square off) after few days.
Can I do it?
Or do I have to bear some penalty for it?
