Can i opted for SWP if my MF is Pledge or vice versa

Hello @siva , My father got retired recently and he was asking me about his money to invest somewhere (as he know I m into finance)…

My query is if I invest his money(lumsum)in MF which can be pledged, after pledging can I opted for SWP every month…and also do some option selling Intraday using available pledged margin ?

Why you want to pledge your dad’s retirement money? I personally opine one should just stay away from fno with that money.

My personal opinion is one should STAY AWAY FROM FNO with dad’s retirement money. But yeah one is allowed to do.

As of now pledged units cant be redeemed, we are working on this mechanism to allow redemption for pledged MF units similar to how we have done for Equity.

Can check with some SEBI registered analyst, but never do fno with that.
