Can minor’s account in Zerodha buy mutual funds after recent SEBI’s circular? :
@ShubhS9 - any one from Zerodha can throw some light? Why minor’s account can’t buy mutual funds in coin?
Apologies for the delayed response, Gautam. Minor account holders currently cannot login, so they cannot invest directly. We’re working on this.
For now, you can invest in mutual funds in your account and then transfer these units to the minor demat account online using CDSL Easiest. You can check the process here
