can we save and export the tick data to an excel file that is getting streamed live
yes it is possible to save the live streaming data, you have not mentioned which program you are using or where you are getting the live streaming data
If your query is with Excel RTD, streaming with link to excel feature, you have to use Excel macros or VBA to store RTD,
if you are using with any other programming language for live streaming then it is possible to store to database (am not very sure how)
