Can we sell a part of an Equity Futures lot size ?

Splitting single lots is not possible.
if u r holding long futures as positional, then,
for intraday play, you can short sell in cash. this way ur long equity futures’ lot size is reduced.
for carry forward to next day, it’s not possible to reduce lot size with long futures, unless u can borrow stock from somewhere n sell it.
probably u can hold long position in cash segment, & short futures during bearish times. this way, u don’t need to exit ur long position within 1 year n claim ltcg tax benefits, while reducing the shock of small fall during short term.
