Just wondering if its possible for brokers to give an ATM card to their customers so that they can withdraw money in case of emergency from their account rather than wait for the next day to receive it in their account? Dont know the policies here… just asking !!

No, only a bank can start an atm facility. What you really want is an instant Withdrawal facility which zerodha is working on. Possibly @siva can give an estimate timeline for it. I think they are also waiting for Bank to start NEFT 24x7 for corporates before going live with it.
