Is cash based settlement possible in stock options and futures after expiry ? If yes how should i do it ? For example i bought TATAMOTORS 24SEP 150CE . Think today is 24 September 3:31 . I didnot sqareoff my position . In this case is it possible to have a cash based settlement ?
If you exit before expiry it is as good as settling in cash. But if you want to let your positions expire then you will have to be ready for physical settlement.
