CDSL account and TPIN

Folks,
I have recently opened an Zerodha account(Kite) and with reference to the same have received a CDSL TPIN for e-DIS facility.

As I understood from the reading, this TPIN will be auto-generate each time sell of shares is done.
Am I correct?

Is there a way to login to CDSL to view what you have in the account? I checked the CDSL web page but on the login options not sure which to pick.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
N K.

No, TPIN is a one-time-generated PIN that can be used each time you sell shares. If you want to reset it or have forgotten it, it can be regenerated.

You can view your holding statement from CDSL Easi. We’ve explained how to register and download here.

@Shruthi what’s the procedure of selling the shares without T-Pin. Before we used submit POA but now it absolute. My friend profile showing DDPI (mine is POA). So is he able to sell the shares without T-Pin or any OTP, if no what’s the solution.

DDPI afaik had to be enabled specifically otherwise default is to Authorize with T-pin and OTP for relatively new accounts.

DDPI allows broker to debit shares to the extent of trades but activating it is offline method.
