Hi, cdsl tpin is needed only to sell cnc? I get prompt to Auth for buy as well. Is it needed?
As far as I know, it’s only required to sell. Not required for selling

Yes, CDSL TPIN authorization is needed only while selling shares from the holdings. It is not needed for buying shares.

Required only for selling CNC holdings, if you have not given POA to your broker. If you have provided POA, then CDSL TPIN will not be asked while selling.

This is what I’m talking about @ShubhS9. I got this notification and prompt while after order fulfilled.
I think it is only today’s problem. CDSL is having some issues for authorization.

This was sent as there CDSL is having issues with authorization. As explained above, the authorization is needed only for selling shares from the holdings. Not needed for buying shares.

@ShubhS9 I also got this notification during the day and even now around 17:00 hrs. I authorized twice during the day and still I got this notification few minutes back now. May I know why repeatedly we are being asked for authorization even though already done?

Thank you. I went through this page in the morning and created a TPIN. But when selling, the message displayed was to authorise before 5 pm.
Now this authorisation - there’s no link to go and authorise! Can you please guide me as to how to do this.

Check the whole page completely.
