Change in lot size in index - confusion

The points 1 & 2 aren’t they confusing?
Can anybody clarify?

Hi @drsennath , any new derivative contracts introduced after October 28, 2025, will be created with the revised lot size.

Point 2: All existing weekly and monthly contracts, the ones already listed, will continue to trade with the old lot size until they expire on December 30, 2025.

will BSE keep their lot size unchanged? with nifty 65 lot size now both sensex and nifty lot value is same. so now we can use nearest expirty ITM option on either exchange to go long/short by buying call/put which also acts as natural hedged trade.

i hope both exchange work together to keep their lot value same, so wed - thur we can use sensex and fri-tue we can use nifty without worrying about unequal value.
