Changing mobile number

Hello,

I want to change the mobile number , which I am using now for trading on Zerodha, and communication with them. Please guide.

You can change your phone/email from Q. Click on the edit profile section>enter your new phone/email.

is it free and does it update in demat account too?

Its not mentioned whether update is done in demat account too, hence asked.

Assume mobile numbers A & B. I had registered my account with mobile number A. I changed my zerodha account mobile number From A to B. Can i register another family member using the mobile number A which i had registered to zerodha before?
