What is linked on the forum is the right answer.
I use Zerodha Pi. I have seen this happen a few times, I am looking at a live chart, say 1 min Nifty dec future chart. I open another chart from the marketwatch for the same 1 min timeframe of Nifty dec future, both the charts don’t seem to match exactly. There is usually a small difference, why is this?
At any given time on the exchanges, trades could happen at different prices. All we get is a snapshot. The snapshot is then used to plot the chart. Two charts or prices on two different platforms can have a slight mismatch in the price.
