Hi, I am using COIN for all MF investments. Recently, wanted to invest in MF based on certain goals. And, I want to track my investments against the set goal, to see my progress on reaching the goal. I tried using tags from Kite console, but it’s not solving my purpose, as I couldn’t track it against my Target value, etc
Is there any plan to bring this feature in COIN? If you do, it will be really helpful.
You can use console tags for goal tagging. This is one thing that is on our to-do list to introduce something like this on Coin, but will take some time. Meanwhile, console tags will be helpful to you.
Any update on this @Neelesh @nithin Zerodha should actively promote GOAL BASED INVESTING.
Coin platform should have an option to create Goal, Allo attaching each investment/folio to the Goal.
We should be able to view investment in Goal based manner.
Probably Create a separate FOLDER for every goal and we can attach units to that.

Please make some enhancement in Coin App and web on viewing Mutual-funds holdings.
Goal shall be directly mapped to Fund or SIP when we look at dashboard.
Also think of some innovative UI check Kuvera app UI they have wonderful goal based grouping and viewing funds when we click on each goal.
Goal list shall also be visible in coin dashboard and how much accumulated and how much more needed to achieve target to be seen.
When we click a goal it shall show mapped SIPs and funds for a group
