What is the minimum amount required to trade in commodity & which commodity??
As I am new to commodity & derivative no any idea pl. help…
I have only 3500/- in commodity account …Now put an order in gold fut… It got rejected …
you need at least 10k to be safe. Crude Min needs 2800/- per lot

These are the commodities you can trade for under Rs.3500:
You can trade Goldpetal, Goldguinea, Silvermic, Crudeoilm using NRML for carry-forward and MIS or Cover Order(CO) for intraday. (Note that Cover Order requires only 40% of the MIS margin) You can trade Copperm, Nickelm, Alumini, Silverm, Goldm and Leadm using only Cover order.
For ex. Copperm using CO requires only a margin of Rs.1550 for 1 lot. You can find out for the other commodities as well using the CO margin calculator
