Please post the scams / frauds or misleading promises you may have experienced , especially in the finance / banking / insurance sectors etc. Or in e-commerce / consumer goods etc.

The objective is to make the average innocent indian citizen more aware by assembling a list so we can learn from other’s mistakes.

Also, there’s a video series that highlights common mistakes traders made , so you might want to watch that.

You need to look for a few patterns / things -

Avoid trusting any platform or service blindly

Don’t rely on assumptions. Ask to clarify, verify.

Avoid limited time offers, steal deals etc.

Avoid paying advance. Never set auto-pay.
