Confuse about leverage things

lets think i have 500 Rupee and i took a leverage of 30x on it and taken a short trade and i saw the next candel closes 5 to 6 point time down and that give profit of 100 rupee and i did it multiple times. Is that legal that taking leverage in market and exiting from a market just in two minutes???

Yes, it is legal. But I can’t think of any instrument in NSE/BSE which provides 30x leverage.

Shorting stocks for intraday is legal - as long as you dont do short deliveries. Then you have to pay fines and penalties.

The max leverage available is 5x in the market.

Yes, it’s legal to take leverage and exit a trade within minutes, many intraday traders and scalpers do this. The only point is that SEBI now caps intraday leverage at 5x, so 30x leverage isn’t allowed. check this .

Options :interrobang:

Around 8x leverage for nifty futures, should be around 80x for 2 ATM call options (weekly). :rocket:

Though OP is probably better off not going there! :skull:

Not really familiar with options so cant really comment, but I do agree,
