Inside console we are able to get breakdown of dividend’s received per particular script, It would be great there would be a report which shows average buying price minus dividend.
hmm… that won’t really be the right way to do it. You could just do this manually right?
Well it could be beneficial to show the dividend of holdings like we see in smallcase. I remember pulling out AIS report from income tax to get dividend credit report, If zerodha can show it will help
Although what author is suggesting, not sure if that would make a great impact but yes it is good to know how much dividend is churning out.

Consider this example, A long term invester is holding ITC @ 170 for last 10 years he might have received 100 as divided in these years ( Separately we are able to see this in console under each script it’s a great addition by zerodha!!) But if there is a filter or report which shows investment minus divided that is 70 per script. This will give the invester a quick view that he has received majority of his initial investment back.
If he has a large portfolio this will be great rather than manually doing these calculations.
Dividend that you should ideally receive is already part of a report on tax P&L. We are working on showing it as a standalone report. @Nakul and @TheGouda will respond here once it is up.

You can download financial year-wise dividend statements from Console.
