@nithin in case of corporate accounts, is the liability of directors limited or they are also personally liable for the debts they own to their brokers. Reason I am asking is because I had read in terms and conditions of certain broker who had this form signed by directors that they have their personal liabilty as well. How does it work with zerodha?

Hey @agrawalji, as per the Companies Act, all shareholders of Private Limited & Public Limited companies have limited liability up to the investment/contribution amount of the shareholder/investor. Currently, at Zerodha, we don’t collect any personal guarantee. We are awaiting for more clarifications from regulators in this regard.
