Creating trading summary videos from Zerodha data – any best practices?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using Zerodha for trading and managing my portfolio, and I’m trying to make short, simple recap videos of my trades using a free video editor for mac. My basic workflow looks like this:

  • I export trade history / screenshots from Kite or Console

  • Bring them into CapCut and turn them into short recap videos (performance, charts, quick notes)

  • Use those videos for personal tracking and reviewing my trades.
Overall it works fine, but I’m running into a few small issues:

  • Chart screenshots sometimes lose a bit of sharpness after editing

  • Colors and indicators don’t always look exactly the same in the final video

  • It’s a bit hard to keep everything visually accurate when converting trading data into video format

Just wanted to check with others here:

  • Has anyone tried making trading recap videos from Zerodha data?
  • Any tips for keeping charts and visuals accurate when using tools like CapCut?
  • Or maybe a better way to present trade summaries without losing clarity?

Would really appreciate any advice

are u makin fr personal journaling or planning to share them publicly? @alishawinson
