If it is interim dividend they need to pay within 30 days from announcement and if it is final dividend it will be after the AGM.

I thought the report which I had attached had this info.

Once dividend is announced, the company will pay the same. It is unlikely they will not unless the company goes bust in the interim.

In case of INTERIM dividend 30 days from board approval date , in case of final dividend 30 days from AGM approval date . this is the maximum prescribed timeline but in most cases it is being paid much earlier.

at least in this era of online trading and demat shares era never heard such thing . even if it is it will be ultra rare with some vanishing co.
