Data feed for your preferred charting platform

I am sharing my view here based on my experience with data feed providers for my charting platform -

  1. Consistent Uptime
  2. Consistent Accuracy
  3. Consistent Speed

Data feed provider consistently satisfying these three above mentioned condition is reliable for trading.
The list of NSE registered data vendors is long, but for retail traders there are the following NSE registered data feed vendors -

  1. Accelpix Solutions Pvt Ltd
  2. Global Financial Datafeeds LLP
  3. TrueData Financial Information Private Limited
  4. Valvenet Technologies

Retail traders using multi-monitor setup, running multiple instances of charting platform like AmiBroker, from my experience my recommendation is Global Financial Datafeeds LLP.

Stock brokers now give free api to consume data. Also now there are coded and codeless backtesting platforms coupled with execution capabilities. Therefore the need for a dedicated data feed vendor has come down significantly.

Am not discounting certain specific use cases where certain users would still need to depend on a data feed vendor. But for most of the retail use cases this option is costly and redundant.

Am posting sites which offer some degree of free coding and codeless backtesting only. There are other platforms available at a cost too.
