Demat AMC Charges debit date

@TheGouda As per the above link and the GIFs shown there, UPFRONT AMC cost will be charged for both the demat accounts.

I have 2 demat accounts in zerodha but have been charged only Rs. 354 instead of Rs. 708 for 1 year period and the same is reflecting in my voucher.

Query here is why it did not deduct the AMC charges for secondary demat account

Any update @TheGouda on my query. If you see the below screenshot taken from FAQ. You can see both the demats were listed when the user is trying to pay the AMC

This was not the case when i tried to pay. Only primary account was visible and the same was reflecting in the funds statement.

I don’t know if it is happening for only me or everyone. Raised support case but did not get a clear response so seeking clarity here

The collection of AMC for multi-demat accounts is working as expected. Could you please DM the ticket number for the support request you raised? We’ll review it and investigate the issue specific to your case.

@Ruchi_Porwal Any update on the sync issue fix for upfront AMC. As it is still in-progress for more than 2 weeks.

Hi Manoj, we have identified the issue. There was an issue with status sync and It affected a few sets of clients. We have fixed this, and the affected clients will now correctly get the option to pay Upfront AMC for both primary and secondary demats. For those who have already opted for Upfront for the primary demat, we are figuring out a way to collect the charges for the secondary demat. We’ll keep you posted on the ticket.

I got a callback and got to know that there is no solution to resolve this upfront AMC payment issue for secondary demat issue and have to wait for the entire period. I’ve agreed on the approach as nothing can be done from the backend team as the team is incapable of finding a solution.

Bit disappointed on the rollout of both secondary demat feature and upfront AMC payment feature to me as both are having issues till date.

Next time when you are rolling out features to clients wrt to secondary demat or anything please ensure that all the workflows are tested even if it takes time.

Once feature is rolled out it should be the same for all clients irrespective of what the scenario is.

The issue you highlighted regarding the non-collection of upfront AMC for secondary demat accounts was caused by a status sync failure that affected only a limited set of clients. This has now been fixed, and we’ve implemented safeguards to ensure it does not impact other users going forward.
